David DeMello is Executive Vice President and Chief Appraiser at Clear Capital^™. He is responsible for training and leading the Quality Assurance Department as well as developing and refining new valuation products and processes for the company.

DeMello is a Certified General Appraiser with ten years of experience in both residential and commercial appraisals. He began his career in real estate with a leading commercial appraisal and consultation firm in the Sacramento, Calif. Gleaning the experience of a 25-year veteran MAI mentor, he refined his skills and developed an abundance of knowledge about this complex industry. Prior to joining Clear Capital, he founded DeMello Valuation, providing real estate appraisal and consultation services covering the Greater Sacramento and North Lake Tahoe Regions.

DeMello is acutely skilled at dealing with complex appraisal assignments covering an array of commercial and residential property types, including office, retail, industrial, subdivisions, master planned communities, Mello-Roos and Assessment District formation, as well as single-family, multi-family and income residential properties. He has served as an expert witness for eminent domain proceedings, and brings to Clear Capital a high level of mortgage default process and foreclosure market expertise.
